You drop in at a friendly pace and the slope just keeps steepening — your speed rises steadily toward 97 km/h while slalom gates, pine trees and snow-capped rocks stream up the mountain toward you. Carving is weighty and satisfying: hold a direction and the skier leans deeper and turns harder, so the game becomes about committing to lines early.
The scoring rewards the slalom line. Pass cleanly between each blue-and-red gate pair for +30 points; miss a gate entirely and 20 points come off. The hazards are priced differently too — a pine tree ends the run on the spot, while a rock merely slows you down and dents your score by 15, which makes the rock line the clever escape when a gate approach goes wrong.
