Rewind Runner 3D
An endless runner with a time twist — crash, rewind 3 seconds, and run it again.
Rewind Runner 3D
A 3D endless runner with a time twist: the game records your last few seconds, so a crash is not the end — rewind time, dodge differently, and keep running. You get 3 rewinds per run.
About Rewind Runner 3D
Rewind Runner 3D takes the familiar 3D endless runner — three lanes, barriers to leap, overhead bars to slide under, full-width blockers to dodge and gold coins to chase — and adds a genuine time twist. While you run, the game continuously records a complete snapshot of the world roughly twenty times per second (your lane, height, speed, score, and the exact position of every obstacle and coin) into a ring buffer holding the last four to five seconds. Time is not a visual effect here; it is recorded, stored and genuinely playable.
When you crash, the run only ends if you are out of rewinds. With rewinds remaining, the world freezes and offers you a choice: press R or tap the Rewind button to restore the snapshot from about three seconds before the crash — obstacles, coins and speed exactly as they were — with a flash of light and one second of invulnerability to get your bearings. You get three rewinds per run, shown in the HUD, and the crash that finds you with none left is final. It turns one unlucky moment into a puzzle: you know exactly what is coming now, so run it better.
Scoring rewards both distance and greed: every metre adds to your score and each coin is worth five bonus points, and because a rewind restores coins too, the coin row you missed before the crash is waiting for you on the second attempt. Speed climbs steadily from a jog to a full sprint, so the deeper you go, the more precious each remaining rewind becomes.
⏳ Time mechanics: This 3D game plays with time itself — time is a real game mechanic here, not just a theme: you can rewind it, race against a recording of your own past, or freeze it mid-run. No downloads: it runs entirely in your browser.
How to Play Rewind Runner 3D
Press Start Game and your robot runner sprints down a three-lane track that speeds up over time, while the snapshot recorder captures the last few seconds of the run.
Switch lanes to dodge red blockers, jump the low orange barriers and slide under the purple overhead bars — each obstacle type demands its own move.
Collect gold coins for 5 bonus points each on top of your distance score.
If you crash with rewinds left, the world freezes: press R or tap ⏪ Rewind Time to jump back about 3 seconds, or choose End Run to finish.
After a rewind you are invulnerable for about a second (the runner blinks) — use it to change lanes safely.
You have 3 rewinds per run. When they are gone, the next crash ends the run and your score is final.
Controls
Tips & Tricks
- 💡A rewind restores the world exactly, including coins — the row you missed is there again, so collect it on the second pass for free points.
- 💡Your post-rewind invulnerability lasts about a second: spend it crossing to the safe lane instead of admiring the flash.
- 💡Rewinds are worth more late than early, because speed — and crash risk — keeps climbing. Try to bank at least one for the final stretch.
- 💡Blockers fill a whole lane and can only be dodged; if one catches you, rewind and start your lane change earlier than you think you need to.
Rewind Runner 3D — Frequently Asked Questions
What is the time twist in Rewind Runner 3D?+
It is a full 3D runner where time is a real, implemented mechanic: the game records full world snapshots (player, obstacles, coins, speed, score) about 20 times per second into a ring buffer. Rewinding restores one of those recorded snapshots, so you literally replay the last few seconds with a different outcome.
How many rewinds do I get, and how far back do they go?+
Three rewinds per run, each restoring the state from roughly 3 seconds before the crash (or the oldest recorded moment if the crash happens very early). The HUD shows how many remain, and you are invulnerable for about a second after each rewind.
Do I keep my coins and score after a rewind?+
Your score reverts to what it was at the restored moment — that is the honest trade of time travel — but every coin and obstacle also returns to its recorded position, so you can re-collect coins you had already taken and grab the ones you missed.
Can I rewind whenever I want?+
No — rewinds are only offered at the moment of a crash, as a second chance. While the offer is on screen the world is frozen, so you can decide calmly: R (or the button) to rewind, End Run to accept the crash.
